TORO MATA features a classic selection of home furnishings and decorating accessories, sterling silver jewelry, hand-woven alpaca apparel and works of art, all of which are imported directly from the master artisans of Peru.
Each item is handcrafted using only natural materials and methods that have been passed down through generations. Over the past ten years we have nurtured mutually beneficial “direct trade” relationships with numerous artists and their families. Through frequent consultations with the craftsmen, we can ensure the highest quality standards and superior delivery of fine products. Of course, we regularly visit Peru to discover new artists and unique products.
Located at 2410 18th Street NW in Washington, DC, since 2005, Toro Mata features a first floor shop and a mezzanine gallery.
